A tragic incident has occurred in Mokwa, Niger State, where a Nigerian woman has lost her husband, seven children, co-wife, and her co-wife’s children to a devastating flood.
The heartbreaking story was shared on a popular social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), by user @__Meeram.
In the post, it was confirmed that the incident indeed took place, as the grieving woman was seen responding to questions about the tragedy.
Despite the unimaginable loss, she expressed her acceptance of the situation, stating that it was “the will of God.”
This incident is part of the wider devastation caused by severe flooding in the region, which has claimed numerous lives.
According to state authorities, at least 153 people have been confirmed dead following the flood that struck Mokwa on May 29.
