Wanted Enugu Native Doctor ‘Ezeani’ Arrested While Attempting to Flee the Country

The suspect had been declared wanted after several bodies, including that of a heavily pregnant woman, were discovered buried within his compound in Unojo, Umumba Ndi-Agu, Ezeagu Local Government Area. Authorities also rescued a 13-year-old girl alive from the scene.

Obu’s attempted escape was thwarted as immigration officials intercepted him before he could cross the border. A viral photo online shows him in handcuffs, confirming his capture.

Law enforcement agencies are expected to proceed with a full investigation as the case continues to draw national attention.
