Martins Vincent Otse, widely recognized as Verydarkman, has openly criticized the federal government’s decision to ban Eedris Abdulkareem’s song, Tell Your Papa, from being broadcast on television and radio stations across Nigeria. The authorities claim the track violates the country’s broadcasting regulations.

In a video posted on his social media page, the outspoken activist mocked the government’s action, questioning its priorities in the face of more pressing national issues. He condemned the leadership, labeling them as “evil,” and highlighted the ongoing insecurity challenges facing the nation.

Verydarkman expressed frustration over the government’s silence on rampant killings and attacks happening across farmlands, stating that the authorities turned a blind eye to citizens’ suffering but were quick to react to a song that exposes the public’s hardship.

He also voiced concerns about the rising threat of terrorism and the apparent inaction from those in power.

In response to the ban, Verydarkman announced plans to sponsor a remix of the controversial song, which he dubbed Tell Your Papa Part 2. He pledged to feature in the music video himself, promising to dance passionately in it. Additionally, he jokingly mentioned that he would cast someone resembling the president for the video.

Further emphasizing his commitment, he said the remix would spotlight more of the country’s critical issues and that he would promote it across his social media platform
