A man from Derby, UK, identified as Oluomo, has been accused by several individuals of scamming them in a Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) deal, with the total sum reportedly reaching £21,000.
The accusations came to light through a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), where a whistleblower detailed the claims, providing screenshots of messages from various people who alleged they were defrauded by Oluomo.
One message from a victim read: “OLUOMO of Derby owes me £5,000 for a COS deal. I didn’t learn about the available space in time—it closed before I could secure it. This man has no conscience.”
Another message revealed the emotional toll on the victim: “I nearly suffered a miscarriage last month due to what he did to my family. He must repay the money or face legal action.”
The whistleblower publicly addressed Oluomo in the post, writing: “Oluomo of Derby, the harm you’re causing with your COS scam, while hiding behind your NIUK founder status, is unbearable. @OluomoofDerby.”
The post also expressed frustration with those defending him: “For those supporting him, your turn will come. I was once labeled a nuisance and attention-seeker, but in the end, the truth will prevail.”
As the post gained traction online, many concerned users took to the comments section to express their reactions and share similar stories.
