- Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has been summoned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for allegedly evading a N23.5 million payment.
- Stella Dimokorkorus reports that Odumodublvck is set to appear before the EFCC in Benin City, Edo State, on April 15, 2025.
Nigerian hip-hop artist Odumodublvck has reportedly been invited by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in connection with a ₦23.5 million performance fee.
According to a report by investigative journalist Stella Dimokokorkus, the rapper is expected to appear before EFCC officials in Benin City, Edo State, on April 15, 2025.
The issue allegedly stems from a contractual agreement involving an empowerment event in Asaba, for which Odumodublvck received ₦23.5 million—half of his total ₦47 million fee. However, the rapper reportedly failed to appear at the event, instead performing at another show the same day.
Dimokokorkus further alleged that the rapper intends to refund the money in installments. The individual who organized the Asaba event is also said to have been invited by the EFCC to assist in the investigation.
The development has sparked online reactions, with fans and followers waiting to see how the situation unfolds. As of now, Odumodublvck has not issued a public statement addressing the matter.
