As the videos spread, social media users flooded the comment section to express their grief and outrage over the situation.

See some reactions below:

@Davidspredict: “Does it mean she didn’t register in a hospital all those times, cus why going from one hospital to another. During that critical condition.”

@Just__Irene: “He’s telling her that he loves her, what can love help in the situation they’re in. Having kids is no joke, putting your life on the line like this heh. Hope women are no longer doing this, he still milked her to the end.”

@phemidawhiz: “I blame the hospital for being heartless, government for lack of health care and the man for not registering her properly for antenatal and having records with a good hospital. What was he doing for 9 months? even if you’re not buoyant you can plan!”

@Nneoma_fayvour: “If i say what’s on my mind erhhhhh! Let me just be going… reason why you must have money that can take care of you and the family before marriage. Even you don’t have 500k but you want to bring children into the world🙄 it’s spit you’ll use to train them? Okay oo.”

@Godisthegreate: “Omo. This is so sad. That’s why pregnant women are advised to register in their nearest general hospital even if it’s not their primary choice, so you can go there and be attended to, in case of emergency. I was in this position in March 2020, General hospital Gbagada came to our.”

@AudiBenz_: “God is a wise God . He gave woman 9months to prepare and give birth . He gave knowledge to human being , that’s why we have doctors and many professionals. So my question is what was the man preparing for throughout the 9months.”

@NaijaHappyFace: “While you’re all blaming the hospital. Also remember that Oga got his wife pregnant and you have 9 months to prepare for the delivery of a new born, Did he do so? Or did he wait to rush her to the clinic(which is a business by the way) in an emergency…while making videos.”
