According to the post, the police officers held the man at gunpoint and demanded he transfer ₦2 million to an account they provided.

The victim does not own the funds and was not given any official documentation or charge.

The post states: “I’m writing to bring to your attention a deeply troubling incident involving officers from the FCID Alagbon office in Ikoyi. Yesterday, they forcefully extorted ₦2 million from a young man whose only alleged offense was trading cryptocurrency.”

According to the victim, the officers held him at gunpoint and compelled him to transfer ₦2 million to an account they provided. The funds do not belong to him, and he was not given any form of official documentation or charge.”

“While he does not have their photos or contact information, he can identify the officers and the specific office where this abuse took place.”

This is a serious violation of human rights and professional conduct. I am calling for an immediate investigation, a full refund of the extorted funds, and appropriate disciplinary actions against the rogue officers involved.”
