- Pastor Paul Adefarasin has responded to a viral video of him holding an object during an encounter with a content creator.
Pastor Paul Adefarasin has addressed recent viral footage in which he was seen holding an object while interacting with a content creator filming his car. The clip sparked widespread speculation, with many viewers believing the object to be a firearm.
Speaking to his congregation, Pastor Adefarasin strongly denied the allegations, calling the spread of the false information a coordinated attack not only against him but also against the church as a whole.
He explained that he neither owns a pistol license nor carries a firearm, emphasizing that he never pointed a gun at anyone during the encounter.
“This is not merely an attack on a local church or a pastor. It is an organised strategy of the one that we war with. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against spiritual powers and princes, spiritual wickedness in heavenly places, spiritual wickedness in high places, and a range of about thirteen cadet of demonic hosts.
So, the enticement of the enemy is always the love of money at the root of all evil.
What we have had to witness was clickbaiters just looking for more money. I probably wasn’t even their target, their target was to make more money.
I was falsely accused of bearing a firearm, pointing a firearm at an aggressive content creator who came withing personal distance. The only thing separating me and him was about maybe three quarters of a meter and glass.
I do not have a pistol license for a firearm, I do not carry a firearm, and I pointed no firearm at anybody,” he said.
