Outrage in Enugu as Secondary School Students Curse Native Doctor Over Classmate’s Alleged Ritual Killing

A wave of shock and anger swept through Enugu State after a disturbing incident involving a native doctor, identified as Ezeani, emerged online.

According to a widely circulated post on X (formerly Twitter) by user @ChuksEricE, a group of secondary school students stormed the residence of the native doctor to lay curses on him after discovering that one of their classmates previously reported missing, had allegedly been used for ritual purposes.

The students, who had just completed their WAEC examination for the day, reportedly marched to the suspect’s compound and held a public cursing session to express their grief and rage.

In a video shared alongside the post, a man can be heard narrating, “It is confirmed that he is one of the victims the native doctor buried. The students came here to lay a curse on him and all his gang, that it will never be well with them.”

This unsettling development follows a series of reports that Ezeani had been involved in ritualistic killings. His activities reportedly came to light after one of his victims allegedly cried out for help, prompting a group of enraged youths to attack his residence and set it ablaze.

Security operatives apprehended the native doctor the next day while he was allegedly trying to escape the country through a nearby border.
