A Nigerian tenant has taken to social media to express frustration over the poor living conditions in his ₦4 million-per-year Lekki apartment, specifically highlighting the brown, murky water running from his tap.

In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter), the man can be seen using a plate to scoop visibly discolored water as it flows directly from the faucet. The footage captures his disappointment as he speaks about the situation.

“See the house of ₦4 million rent, see water. Landlord doesn’t want to refund when I want to pack out.” he lamented in the video.

The man also revealed that despite his intention to vacate the property, the landlord has refused to return his payment or offer any compensation for the poor water quality.
