International movie streaming platform, Netflix has denied rumours of its alleged exit from Nigeria, emphasizing its dedication to the country’s creative ecosystem.
This came following falsified reports, stating that Netflix exited the West African country due to low patronage and economic conditions.
In a statement to TechCabal, the streaming giant clarified that it remains committed to its Nigerian operations despite speculations fueled by economic challenges and regulatory pressures.
“We are not exiting Nigeria. We will continue to invest in the country’s stories to delight our members,” the company stated.
