- NANS President Olushola Oladoja shares her experience with Seyi Tinubu, a former president, who refused a N100 million bribe.
- Olushola Oladoja claimed to have been invited to Lagos and met with Seyi Tinubu and the Minister of Youth at a press briefing.
Olushola Oladoja, the President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), has publicly alleged that he was assaulted and coerced into stepping down from his position after rejecting a ₦100 million bribe.
During a recent press conference, Oladoja claimed he was invited to Lagos where he met with Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, and the Minister of Youth. According to him, events took a dark turn after he refused the bribe.
He recounted being abducted, physically assaulted, and stripped naked. He further alleged that his captors forced him into making a televised statement relinquishing his role as NANS president.
“I was stripped naked, beaten seriously, in collaboration with the MD of NTA, I was packaged to NTA to make a voluntary statement that I’ve renounced my position as NASS president”, He stated.
Oladoja also claimed that during the ordeal, Seyi Tinubu allegedly made a chilling remark suggesting that even if he were killed, the Inspector General of Police would be instructed to cover it up.
The explosive allegations have sparked serious concern across social and political circles, though no official response from Seyi Tinubu or the Ministry of Youth has been issued as of this report.
