Man shares strange beach encounter as water brings him red apple


A Nigerian man has narrated a chilling experience at the beach, where water reportedly returned a red apple to him after he threw ₦200 into it.

In a viral post on X (formerly Twitter), the man recounted visiting the beach with friends at 10 PM. While there, he threw a ₦200 note into the water, only for a wave to bring a red apple to him moments later.

He claimed that he picked up the apple and threw it back into the water, but the waves returned it with a deep bite mark.

Astonished, he threw it a second time, and the apple came back again—this time with another bite.

According to him, one of his friends also threw the apple into the water, but it didn’t return after that.

Following the unsettling event, he shared his experience on social media, seeking interpretations or explanations for what had happened.

His post reads: “I went to the beach with two of my friends around 10 PM. We were cruising and playing around until I threw ₦200 into the water. “

“There was a little wave, and then the water brought a red apple to my front. I picked the apple and threw it back in.” 

The water brought it back, but this time, there was a deep bite on the apple. I threw it again, and the apple returned with another bite. Omo, I was shocked.”

One of my friends threw the apple into the water, and it didn’t come back. Anybody with wide knowledge about water should explain this because omo.”
