A Nigerian man, Olamide Omoregha, has taken to social media to publicly praise his wife for her incredible strength and resilience after she survived a harrowing childbirth experience.
Omoregha shared a detailed account of the numerous challenges his wife endured, including two major operations, over 50 drips and injections, and blood transfusions, all in the process of bringing their child into the world.

In his emotional post, Omoregha recounted the difficult moments his wife faced during and after childbirth.
“After the birth of my son on Saturday, my wife went through: 1. Two operations in a week 2. Over 50+ drips & injections 3. Three different pipes in her body 4. Sleepless nights 5. Four major stitches on her body 6. No food or water for five days 7. Blood transfusions,” he wrote.
The experience left Omoregha in awe of his wife’s strength.
He expressed how deeply touched he was by her resilience, especially when she came out of the first operation and immediately asked him for congratulations.
“When my wife came out of the first operation, she just said ‘Baby, Baby, tell me congratulations.’ Omo, I burst into tears! Women are strong o!” he added.
He also took the opportunity to encourage other married men to be more involved in their wives’ pregnancies, urging them to witness the struggles and sacrifices that come with childbirth.
“One of the experiences that will make you love and respect your wife more is if you are involved in her 9-month pregnancy journey and delivery,” he shared.
