A man has stirred controversy online after demanding a $15 refund from a woman he took on a first date because she refused to go to his place afterward.
The incident came to light through a post on X (formerly Twitter), where the man reportedly asked the woman if she would accompany him home following their date.
She politely declined, explaining that since it was their first outing, she wasn’t comfortable going to his place.
Despite her clear response, the man insisted, assuring her that nothing inappropriate would happen and that they would simply watch a movie before she left.
The woman stood firm in her decision.
Frustrated, the man demanded a refund of the $15 he spent on food during the date, saying, “You’re coming to my place after, right? Really? You’re going to PayPal me, right?”
The woman considered sending the money back, but the man, unhappy with her hesitation, said he would block her — and he did.
