A Biochemistry student from Lagos State University (LASU) has gone viral after posting a tearful video on TikTok, expressing her frustration over receiving an âFâ in one of her courses, despite studying intensely for the exam.
In the emotional footage, the student breaks down as she describes her university experience as a âscamâ and warns others to reconsider pursuing higher education. She vented her anger over what she perceives as an unfair academic system.
In the video, the student tearfully recounts how she studied diligently for the exam, only to receive a failing grade. She points out the contradiction between the lecturerâs assurances that students would not be deliberately failed and the reality of her result.
Her statement in the video reads:
âLASU, thank you for ruining my life. Why do people fail? You actually read everything and still fail. Then the lecturer says, âI donât want you guys to fail, weâre also parents.â But you go ahead and fail someone elseâs child. Do you find joy in that? Are you guys evil? Donât go to university, guysâitâs a scam.â
