A Lagos restaurant, Thirty8, has been investigated following a viral allegation of human trafficking raised by a woman who claimed she saw strange items and white clothes in the toilet. The claim has since been found to be false.
This is contained in an investigative video shared on a popular social media platform, X (formerly Twitter).

According to a post by the official handle of *The Guardian Nigeria*, their reporters visited the restaurant and carried out an on-site assessment.
In the video, one of the staff members narrates while moving around the premises, explaining the layout—particularly the multiple doors in the restroom area—and debunking the woman’s claims.
This comes days after a woman accused the restaurant of attempting to kidnap her.
She alleged that she was locked inside the toilet and discovered what she described as “white clothes” and “charms.”
In her words: “The door beside the female toilet was filled with strange things—white clothes, charms. When I saw it, I shouted ‘Blood of Jesus!’”
