A Nigerian woman has shared a heartbreaking story of how her sister lost her sanity shortly after giving birth.
She recounted the event in a video shared on her TikTok account, detailing that the occurrence started on the same day her sister welcomed her child.
As she stated, their mother had notified her at approximately 9 a.m. that her sister was in labor.
By 2 p.m., she had successfully given birth and returned home in good health, even hosting guests who came to visit.
Nevertheless, the situation took a sudden and alarming turn later that evening.
At around 5 p.m., her sister entered the bathroom to take a bath, but moments later, she was discovered lying naked on the floor, unresponsive.
In her words: “My mum texted me around 9 am and said my sister has gone into labor. Around 2, she came home after a successful delivery. Everything was fine, visitors were coming in.”
“Towards evening, she went to the bathroom to take her bath. She was okay and walking, then the next thing—our last born ran in shouting, ‘Mama, come and see Loveth!’”
“We rushed there and found her lying naked on the bathroom floor. She started convulsing, her tongue out, biting it.”
“She regained consciousness briefly and asked what happened, but soon after, she began convulsing again.”
The emotional account has drawn many reactions online, with users flooding the comment section to express sympathy and share similar experiences.
