Popular Big Brother Naija star and billionaire heir, Kidwaya, has come out in support of nightlife mogul Cubana Chief Priest following widespread criticism over his recent meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Over the weekend, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, visited the Presidential Villa in Abuja. He was accompanied by Afrobeats sensation Davido, music executive Ubi Franklin, and members of the 30BG crew.

The group received a warm welcome from President Tinubu.

Shortly after the meeting, Cubana Chief Priest shared photos and videos of the event on his social media platforms, intending to celebrate a milestone in his career. However, the posts quickly drew harsh criticism from many Nigerians.

Social media users accused the socialite of cozying up to political leaders at a time when the country is grappling with inflation, unemployment, and economic challenges.

Tensions escalated after an old video resurfaced, showing Cubana Chief Priest kneeling to greet Vice President Kashim Shettima, which some interpreted as an act of excessive flattery.

Amid the backlash, Kidwaya expressed his support for Cubana Chief Priest by commenting on his Instagram post, standing by him during the controversy.

“To meet President, you think na easy!! @cuban_chiefpriest, no mind the haters. More wins, my brother.”
