However, in a statement released on Thursday through a spokesperson to TMZ, Bieber firmly denied being one of Diddy’s victims.
“Although Justin is not among Sean Combs’ victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him. Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve,” the statement read.
Sources also told TMZ that Combs never abused Bieber and that their past interactions were “performative.” They emphasized that Bieber was closer to Diddy’s sons than to the rapper himself.
Still, the disturbing nature of the resurfaced footage has reignited discussions on social media. In one clip, Combs refers to having “custody” of Bieber for 48 hours and describes it as “a 15-year-old’s dream.” Bieber, visibly uncomfortable, gives minimal responses throughout the video.
The backlash grew after Diddy was arrested on sex trafficking and racketeering charges—allegations he denies. The news deeply unsettled Bieber, a source told DailyMail.com, saying he was “shut off” and unwilling to discuss the matter.
The insider added, ‘So many people who helped to make him who he is were very close to Diddy and it has completely thrown him. Justin hasn’t been responding on this since the home raids. He’s not going to.’
Bieber also reportedly regrets working with Combs on the 2023 album The Love Album: Off the Grid, stating he would not have participated had he known about the allegations.
