Football legend , Christiano Ronald has reacted to the death of the man who discovered him, Aurelio Pereira, Sporting CP’s former head of recruitment.
According to report, Aurelio Pereira first discovered the talent the footballer had and recruited him.
Before the death of Aurelia Pereira, he reportedly founded Sporting CP’s recruitment and training department in 1988 to discover young talented footballers.
Aside from Christiano Ronaldo, Aurelio reportedly founded about 10 other players that also won the Euro 2016.
Reacting to the death of the ma. Who made him who he is now, Ronaldo took to his Instagram page and wrote;
One of the greatest symbols of world training has left us, but his legacy will live on forever.
“I will never stop being grateful for everything he did for me and for so many other players.
“Until forever, Mr. Aurélio, thank you for everything. Rest in peace,” wrote Ronaldo.
