A Nigerian lady has emotionally taken to TikTok to share the devastating story of how her boyfriend was allegedly murdered by his longtime best friend due to a disagreement over land.
In her video, she revealed that the two men had been close for 17 years before a fallout last year strained their friendship. The woman explained that the alleged killer had previously threatened her boyfriend, repeatedly saying he would “put a bullet in his skull.”
She said that despite those threats and even after she had a troubling nightmare warning her of danger her boyfriend still agreed to meet the former friend, who had recently reached out in an apparent attempt to make peace.
“We already reported the friend to the police stating he keeps saying he’ll put a bullet in his skull,” she recalled. “Two days back, the friend reached out to him that they should meet and settle. I already had a nightmare and told him not to go.”
According to her, her boyfriend left home around 11 p.m., telling her he had a show scheduled for 9 p.m. but would stop by to meet his former friend. That night would end in tragedy.
“He said he’s going for a show by 9 p.m. but he would be there by 11. Unknown to him that they’d gang up against him. They shot my man 3 times in his chest, once in his arm,” she said tearfully.
In her words, “It took me a lot of courage to hold my phone and make this video. My man was killed by his friend, someone he called his best friend. His childhood friend. Someone he has been friends with for 17 years because of an issue they have over a land.”
Since being posted, the video has drawn widespread attention and sympathy on social media, with many viewers expressing heartbreak and calling for justice in the comment section.
