Obi Levi Obieze, a native doctor from Enugu, widely recognized as Ezeani, has finally spoken out following his arrest.
It is important to note that he was apprehended while attempting to escape the country via a land border.
He faces allegations of kidnappings and ritual killings after remains were discovered buried in the soakaway located in his compound.
Obieze was caught on a motorcycle while trying to leave Nigeria through a land border.
During his interrogation by an Immigration officer, Obieze asserted that he was framed by his fellow villagers who oppose his ascension to kingship.
He stated that an innocent individual fears no accusations, as the God of vengeance will defend him.
He said while being questioned: “It’s a political issue, it’s something politics. Fabrication against me because I will be next of king and some people in my village don’t want me to be that next of king. So, they are painting ev!l against me, front and back, so that I can fall.”
Asked if he’s a native doctor, he replied: “No.”
He added that the President General of his village is the one who “planted” things in his compound.
“Because of this kingship issue, they set me up. Someone that is working for them planted de@d body in my soak away,” Obieze said.
He insisted that he is a businessman who sells okirika (second-hand fashion items).
