Tanzanian music sensation Diamond Platnumz has officially gotten married, joining the list of celebrities who have recently said “I do.”
The artist shared moments from his intimate Islamic wedding on Sunday, June 1, posting photos and videos on his social media platforms. The ceremony was attended by a close circle of friends and family.
In one widely shared video, his bride joyfully confirmed their union while arriving home with Diamond. Addressing long-standing rumors about his romantic life, the singer clarified in a post that this marks his first marriage.
“Everyone seems to have a different version of Diamond Platnumz and marriage. But today, I want to let you know, I’ve never been married before. One day, I’ll explain the full story,” he wrote.
His wedding comes shortly after fellow Tanzanian artist Juma Jux celebrated his own nuptials with Priscilla Ojo, marking a season of celebrity weddings in the country.
