The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a further reduction in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to N899.50 per litre, aiming to provide Nigerians with some relief ahead of the holiday season.
This development follows an earlier price cut to N970 per litre on November 24 by Africa’s first privately-owned oil refinery.
The latest price adjustment is intended to ease transportation costs during the festive period, a time when travel expenses typically rise for many Nigerians.
The announcement was made in a statement by the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer of Dangote Group, Anthony Chiejina, on Thursday.
