A Nigerian woman has landed in hot water after being captured on CCTV allegedly stealing two wigs — a bone straight and a pixie style — reportedly valued at ₦300,000 from a beauty store.
The incident gained attention after it was shared by user @dammiedammie35 on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). The accompanying video revealed the moment the suspect was confronted by the shop owner over the missing wigs.
Unaware that the store was under surveillance, the woman was said to have discreetly taken the items. However, the CCTV footage eventually exposed her actions.
In the video, she appeared visibly nervous and pleaded not to be embarrassed publicly, saying, “Aunty, I don’t want embarrassment.” Despite her pleas, the shop owner was adamant about making the incident public and insisted that her face be shown.
