A heated exchange has unfolded on social media between popular Nigerian cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, known as Bobrisky, and young content creator and philanthropist King Mitchy, whose real name is Mukoro Ereremena Michelle.
The drama began after King Mitchy shared a video online, where she interviewed two young effeminate boys. During the interview, one of the boys revealed that he began crossdressing at the age of 10, after being molested by a relative.
Reacting to the boy’s story, King Mitchy directly blamed Bobrisky, accusing him of encouraging young Nigerian males to embrace crossdressing as a fast track to wealth and fame. Pointing to the camera, she said:
“I hope you have seen what you’ve caused ???? No come back to this country oh just stay where you Dey!!!”
Bobrisky, upon seeing the post and being tagged, responded swiftly and angrily. In his reply, he lashed out at King Mitchy, saying:
“You are very stupid for having d gut to tag me. If you are looking for public funds why can’t you keep hustling on what you do. How dare you tag me? Never in ur life tag me on dis rubbish again.”
The back-and-forth has sparked conversation online, with users taking sides on the issue of social influence and responsibility within the Nigerian entertainment space.
