A disturbing video making the rounds on social media has sparked outrage after it showed an African American woman being verbally attacked by a man whose romantic advances she had politely declined.
The clip, shared by the woman herself, captures the moment the man went from admiration to aggression in a matter of seconds, following her refusal to engage with him.
She accompanied the post with a caption expressing her frustration and discomfort:
“He approached me saying oh you’re beautiful blabla bla. I said I’m not interested. Did I just get harassed? I hate man. Then he started insulting me like a baby because I declined.”
In the video, the man is heard lashing out with a string of degrading remarks:
“Who are you? Are you God? Are you Miss USA? You think because of iPhone 13, you are so cute? You got anxiety man, calm down, listen to good music.”
His tone and body language quickly shifted from admiration to hostility, a pattern many women online have identified as harassment and entitlement.
The video has drawn widespread condemnation, with many social media users pointing to the encounter as yet another example of how some men react with hostility when their advances are rejected.
