An African-born American police officer has sparked reactions online after showing off native charm symbols while issuing a stern warning to his coworkers.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), the officer stated that he moved to America to make money, not friends.
Addressing his colleagues who might come across his video, he cautioned them to stay away, emphasizing that he has no interest in workplace friendships.
To reinforce his message, he displayed several voodoo symbols marked on his hands, stomach, back, and other parts of his body, claiming they help him communicate with his ancestors.
His statement reads: “I don’t know which of my coworkers need to see this video, but I want to let you know I am not here to make friends. I came from Africa to find money.”
“I didn’t come to America to make friends. I am not at work to make friends.”
“This is my symbol as a Fulani. This is what I use to communicate with my ancestors in heaven. I don’t know which of my coworkers need to hear this—leave me alone. I’m here to work, make money, and go home. Don’t f*** with me, I’m from Wakanda.”
