Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has accused a resident of her estate of facilitating the escape of her housemaid, who allegedly stole money and other valuables from her.
In a post that has since been removed from her Instagram account, Sarah shared a video featuring the estate resident as they reviewed CCTV footage that purportedly showed him assisting the housemaid in her flight. According to Sarah, the resident provided his access card to her maid, who absconded with her possessions, including $10,000.
The actress from Asaba stated that they had to visit the estate’s control room to examine the CCTV recordings, which revealed the man’s involvement in the maid’s escape. Currently, the housemaid remains untraceable.
Sarah expressed her dilemma regarding whether to hold the man responsible, highlighting that he is a married individual and had maintained a friendship with her maid.
“This my estate resident used his access card to give access to my house girl who ran away this morning with my belongings along with my $10,000 cash.
We had to go to the estate control room to check the CCTV footage and that’s how we saw how he helped her escape.
The girl is nowhere to be found. Should I hold this man accountable for all the damages?
Mind you, he’s a married man, and my staff just confirmed to me that he’s been friends with my help for a long. I want to use him as a scapegoat so the next time he sees people’s house girls, he will stay away from them and focus on his wife and family”.
