Abroad-Based Woman Threatens to Jail Sister & Husband for Diverting House Project Funds –

  • An Nigerian woman threatening to jail her sister and her sister’s husband after they discovered they diverted funds from her house project to build their own home.

A Nigerian woman living overseas is reportedly threatening legal action against her sister and brother-in-law after learning they misappropriated funds intended for her building project in Delta State.

The story came to light through a post shared by an X (formerly Twitter) user identified as @xoxo_mjayy. According to the post, the woman had been consistently sending money to her sister’s husband, who works as an engineer, to oversee the construction of a family house back home.

However, things took a dramatic turn when she discovered that the money had been diverted. Instead of using the funds for her house as agreed, the couple allegedly used it to build a house for themselves.

The post reads: “My aunt (stays abroad) has been sending money to her sister’s husband (an engineer) to build a family house in Delta. She just found out they’ve been using the money to build their own house.”

The incident sparked reactions from social media users, many of whom expressed outrage and disbelief in the comment section.
