The woman accused the suspect, said to be a Corps Liaison Officer (CLO), of attacking her sister and her friend without provocation during the meeting.

She also alleged that the man has connections to a local NYSC official, making it difficult to hold him accountable.

In her post, she wrote: “Good evening, everyone. 😭 I’m begging with so much fear and tears in my eyes. 😭 My friend’s sister was harassed, and they’re trying to sweep it under the carpet because an NYSC official is involved.”

She further alleged that her sister was threatened after reporting the matter to the police.

She called the police on him, but he said nothing would happen to him, and the police actually left. 😭 He threatened to make her life miserable for involving the police. She’s not safe because she still needs to serve.”

The distraught woman appealed to the public to tag the relevant authorities, adding that she’s unsure of what steps to take next.

In a private message, she elaborated on the incident, claiming that the CLO frequently harasses corps members who reject his advances.

She added that efforts to report the matter to the Local Government Inspector (LGI) yielded no results, as the LGI allegedly intervened to shield the suspect from arrest.

This CLO guy hit my sister and her friend unprovoked during the corps meeting. When the police arrived to arrest him, he locked himself inside and called the LGI. The LGI, who happens to be a woman, begged the police to leave, and they did. I’ve contacted my lawyer, and we’re pressing charges.”

She attached videos and screenshots to support her claims, urging the public and relevant authorities to take action.

The post has since gone viral, drawing reactions from concerned individuals online, many of whom shared their thoughts and called for justice in the comment section.
