Crystal Palace hold Man City to 2-2 draw as Rico Lewis sees red

Manchester City’s Premier League struggles continued as they managed only a 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

This extended their poor run to just one win in six games.

The defending champions now find themselves eight points adrift of league leaders Liverpool, who also have a game in hand.

City’s defensive lapses proved costly, with Crystal Palace’s Daniel Munoz and Maxence Lacroix punishing their backline with well-taken goals.

Erling Haaland briefly revived City’s hopes, scoring a towering header to cut the deficit.

Rico Lewis later equalized, but their joy was short-lived as he received two yellow cards in quick succession, leaving City to finish with 10 men.
