  • Ivy Ifeoma, wife of singer Paul Okoye, addresses trolls who question the authenticity of her breast milk due to its color.
  • The new mother shared a video of her breast milk on Instagram, causing a follower to comment that it resembled diluted milk, claiming it’s not as pure as hers.

Ivy Ifeoma, the spouse of singer Paul Okoye, addressed critics who questioned the legitimacy of her breast milk based on its color.

The new mother posted a video of her breast milk on Instagram, which led to a comment from a follower suggesting that the milk appeared diluted and claiming that breast milk is not usually as clear as hers.

One of the trolls wrote, “That thing you brought out is formula not breast milk. Breast milk is a bit yellowish.”

In response, Ivy took to her Instagram story to provide a pointed yet educational reply, clarifying the misconceptions. She began by challenging the follower’s knowledge, stating:

“Some of you guys in the comments aren’t bright. When did all humans become the same? Do you know that the color changes over time? The ‘yellowish’ one is colostrum-infused.”

Ivy further inquired whether the critic was a mother and expressed her annoyance at unfounded remarks that could mislead new mothers. She highlighted that the color of breast milk can vary, particularly in the initial stages when colostrum, which is rich in nutrients, is present.

The new mother, who recently welcomed her child, concluded her response with a piece of advice:

“Don’t knock what you don’t know and don’t confuse new/expecting mums.”
