Well-known media figure and ex-radio host, Toolz Oniru, has shared her sadness about the deportation issue involving Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, the leader of SPAC Nation.

The pastor, who lives in the UK and is famous for his extravagant way of life, recently lost a legal fight to avoid being sent back to Nigeria.

This situation arose after claims of financial wrongdoing, with reports suggesting that he misused £1.87 million from church funds.

An immigration tribunal decided against him because he had been living in the UK illegally since he overstayed his visitor’s visa in 2005. In 2019, he sought permission to stay, claiming the right to family life under the ECHR.

His request was initially rejected by a first-tier immigration tribunal, but he decided to appeal. In response to this news, Toolz expressed her disapproval on social media, criticizing Tobi Adegboyega for his actions and how they affected his family’s reputation, especially that of his nephew, Hollywood actor John Boyega.

Toolz mentioned that she would not call Adegboyega a pastor, saying his actions were damaging. She wrote:

“John Boyega never claimed this fellow (I refuse to say Pastor) and see how his name has been dragged into this mess. Poor guy.”
