An unnamed lady has reportedly turned down two fully funded scholarships to study abroad in order to focus on a career in content creation in Lagos.

This information was shared by a user on X, identified as Joshua, through his verified account. He expressed his astonishment at the situation, noting that the woman had received admission offers from five universities in the United States, two of which included full funding.

She was scheduled to begin her studies at one of these institutions on January 13, 2025, but has chosen to forgo this opportunity to pursue her aspirations in content creation.

He wrote, “So this babe got admission into 5 universities in the USA, 2 are fully funded scholarships, she is supposed to resume to one on 13th of January 2025, but she have decided not to go because she wants to move to her own apartment in Lagos and focus on content creation next year, I really don’t know how that sounds.”

This decision has sparked considerable surprise and debate among social media users.

Many have raised questions about why she cannot engage in content creation while studying in the United States.

Others have suggested that her choice may be influenced by external factors, humorously attributing it to the influence of “village people,” implying that there may be something unusual at play.
