A new report has revealed fresh developments in the ongoing divorce between American reality TV star Porsha Williams and Nigerian-born entrepreneur Simon Guobadia.
Porsha initially filed for divorce in 2023, citing irreconcilable differences. On June 11, 2025, both parties appeared virtually via Zoom for a nearly 10-hour-long court hearing. Despite the lengthy session, the estranged couple reportedly had no direct communication during the proceedings.
The presiding judge ruled in favor of upholding the couple’s prenuptial agreement. As part of the judgment, Simon Guobadia was ordered to pay Porsha $40,000 in monthly alimony for a period of up to 15 months.
Porsha will also retain ownership of the Rolls-Royce gifted to her by Simon and has been granted partial control of their $7 million Atlanta mansion. The court granted her until 2027 to decide whether she wants to remain in the home. If she chooses to stay, she will be required to refinance the property and buy out Simon’s 50% share. In the meantime, Simon will continue covering the mortgage payments.
In a separate development, Simon Guobadia was recently deported to Nigeria following his release from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody. His deportation reportedly stems from multiple immigration violations, including overstaying his visa on two occasions.
