An innovative engineer from Delta State Polytechnic has developed a fuel-less generator capable of powering household appliances continuously for up to 21 hours. This remarkable invention has sparked significant interest on social media, particularly on the platform X (formerly known as Twitter).

The engineer’s breakthrough was shared by user @Akinjoshua2017, who posted a video of the device in action. In the clip, the engineer demonstrates how the generator works and explains its unique features.

He describes the invention as an “electromechanical device” and states:

“We have here a fuel-less generator, 2.5KVA. It can power household appliances. As it’s working, it’s charging itself. It can run for 21 hours, it’s mobile, and has no issues with fuel. We call it an electromechanical device.”

The video showcases the generator successfully powering several home appliances, including a refrigerator, television, and other electronic devices. This real-time demonstration has captured the attention of many viewers, highlighting the generator’s practical use and potential.

Amid Nigeria’s ongoing struggles with rising fuel costs and unreliable power supply, many online users have praised the invention as a timely and promising solution. Some have even suggested the device could revolutionize energy use in homes and small businesses across the country.

The innovation stands as a testament to local engineering talent and creativity in addressing critical national challenges.
