Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has called out her former close friend Tonto Dikeh, accusing her of allegedly masterminding an online smear campaign against her.
The tension between the former friends escalated after an Instagram user known as Sheddy of Lagos, who appears to be affiliated with Tonto, accused Doris of being “ungrateful and bitter”, claiming that Tonto once gifted her a brand-new Bentley.
In the now-viral post, Sheddy wrote:
“Dear @dorisogala, how can you be so ungrateful and bitter? Same, you, King Tonto, gave a brand new Bentley? Just so you know, King Tonto is not your problem; your low self-esteem is. You need to love yourself first before you can love anyone. In all, you need peace, I speak peace into your chaotic life”.
Reacting strongly, Doris Ogala took to her own Instagram page to respond, sharing a screenshot of the post while accusing Tonto of instigating the attack. She denied ever discussing the alleged Bentley with Sheddy and questioned why her name was being dragged into the public fray.
She wrote, “I don’t know who you are. I believe Tonto sent you to do this because I’ve never met or discussed Bentley with you. If your Tonto claims she gifted me Bentley, let her say it herself.
“Next time you mention my name on your page in such a defamatory and cyberbullying way, I will have you arrested. @ohikuherbals, please see this now, mama, before you mediate again. Explain why Tonto is recruiting people. Trust me, this may not end well. I’m not your regular girl.”
This public fallout has stirred fresh drama within Nollywood circles and on social media, with fans of both actresses weighing in on the bitter rift between the once-close friends.
