Popular social commentator and activist, Verydarkman, has once again taken aim at Pastor David Ibiyeomie, calling out the clergyman over his controversial teachings and perceived intolerance to criticism.
This follows Pastor Ibiyeomie’s recent statement threatening legal action against Nigerians and bloggers who speak negatively about him online, a comment that stirred a wave of reactions across social media.
Reacting to the pastor’s comments, Verydarkman accused him of trying to silence the public and using intimidation to shield himself from accountability. According to the activist, the pastor’s aggressive stance against criticism stems from the questionable nature of some of his teachings.
In a recent post, Verydarkman stated, “I took my time to go through his preaching, and I think I understand why he says if you criticize him, they will arrest you. It’s because he says a lot of nonsense. And truly, the man no like criticism…”
