Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has officially ended her long-standing dispute with fellow actress Mercy Johnson.
During a recent Instagram Live session on Tuesday, June 3, Angela shared with her fans that she decided to forgive Mercy after learning about her reported health struggles.
She encouraged Mercy, a mother of four, to make peace with those she may have offended in the past and criticized her for using religious language that, according to Angela, doesn’t align with her actions.
“I’ve chosen to forgive Mercy Johnson because I heard she’s seriously unwell. She needs to seek forgiveness from those she’s wronged and stop using religious phrases that don’t reflect her true self,” Angela said during the livestream.
Angela Okorie had previously gone viral for making harsh allegations against Mercy, including claims that she had lost weight due to no longer having “blood to drink.”
In 2024, Angela stirred controversy by publicly accusing Mercy and her late mother of witchcraft. She even hosted a live session with someone who claimed to be Mercy’s former best friend, who echoed the same accusations.
Now, with Angela announcing the end of the rift, fans are watching to see if Mercy will respond or take steps toward reconciliation.
