Popular Nigerian comedian Shank has advised people to stop focusing on the $10,000 prize he received from renowned YouTuber MrBeast.
The content creator won the substantial cash reward during Kai Cenat’s Streamer University event, drawing significant attention online.
Following the win, friends including fellow comedian Nasty Blaq reached out, jokingly asking for a portion of the money.
Upon returning to Lagos, Shank noted that people’s attitudes toward him have noticeably changed since news of his prize went public.
Addressing the situation, Shank made it clear that the money is his alone and not up for distribution.
“I’ve been seeing a lot of people looking at me now differently in Lagos. The $10K is for me, its not for the whole country. You guys should respect yourselves…” he said in part.
