According to reports circulating on X (formerly Twitter), angry youths stormed Ezeani’s residence and set fire to his house, shrine, and several of his properties in retaliation. The incident was shared by user @agnes_nwanneka, who posted multiple videos showing the chaotic scene.
The footage captures large crowds ransacking the native doctor’s alleged shrine and setting various items ablaze, with flames consuming parts of the building and other belongings.
It was alleged in the accompanying captions that the native doctor was involved in using human beings for ritual purposes—claims that, as of now, remain unverified. No solid evidence was presented in the footage to support the accusations.
Reports suggest that Ezeani may have fled the scene before the mob arrived. The viral posts have triggered widespread reactions online, with many users expressing concern over the rise in jungle justice and calling for proper investigation and legal action.
