Rapper Meek Mill has spoken out amidst the ongoing federal investigation involving music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, firmly denying any connection to the allegations circulating online.
Taking to social media, Meek Mill addressed the widespread speculation sparked by vague statements in a previously dropped lawsuit filed by producer Lil Rod. The suit referenced a Philadelphia rapper once linked to Nicki Minaj, prompting many to suggest Meek Mill was involved — despite his name never being mentioned.
Frustrated by the speculation, Meek wrote:
“In the midst of Diddy on federal trial I wanna bring back up ‘Lil Rod’ and his lawsuit that was dropped. He never said my name but these blogs amplified that whole agenda against me. My culture don’t believe it but it’s an attack on my brand.”
The rapper went on to describe how misleading headlines have impacted his public image, accusing blogs of spreading lies and creating fake narratives.
Addressing rumors about behavior at celebrity parties, Meek added that while he’s witnessed “coke vibes” at Diddy’s gatherings, it’s nothing unique to Diddy alone, and he has no interest in drugs like marijuana.
“The craziest thing I seen at a Puff party is coke vibes — and that’s going on at all these parties… I’m from Norf Philly, I had millions since I was 23! I don’t even wanna be addicted to weed! Not judging but I see it different!
I was running into Suge Knight and Big U when I came to LA — no camera phone vibes! I was showing [people] out there it’s more to life with Black success,” he added.
Meek’s comments come amid heightened attention on Diddy’s legal troubles and the entertainment industry’s response to the unfolding case.
