Activist Aisha Yesufu stated that if Nigeria had a functioning President, the Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa, would have already been dismissed following the disclosures made by JAMB’s registrar, Prof Ishaq Oloyede.
During a press conference in Abuja on May 14, Oloyede emotionally acknowledged that there were significant issues during the 2025 JAMB examination, resulting in widespread failures in the five South East states and Lagos state.
In response to Oloyede’s statements, Yesufu proposed that the Minister of Education, who oversees JAMB, should be removed from his position.
