The singer has obtained a temporary restraining order after accusing DDG, whose full name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., of enduring repeated physical, emotional, verbal, and financial abuse.
Bailey’s claims include a disturbing incident in January, where she alleges DDG violently slammed her face into a steering wheel, leaving her with a chipped tooth and visible bruises on her arms. She also states that he entered her home without consent, sent her threatening messages, and destroyed a security camera during a confrontation at her residence.
The singer expressed her concerns about her personal safety and the well-being of their 17-month-old son, Halo. Additionally, Bailey requested that DDG be prohibited from using his social media platforms to stir up his followers against her.
The court has responded by issuing a temporary restraining order, which mandates that DDG remain at least 100 yards away from Bailey and her son. A follow-up hearing is scheduled for June to address the situation further.
