DSS Behind VeryDarkman’s Arrest, Not EFCC – Report –

  • A recent report accuses the Department of State Services (DSS) of involvement in the arrest of VeryDarkMan, contradicting earlier allegations of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
  • Gistlover reported that VeryDarkMan was arrested by security operatives in Abuja, but details are still under wraps.

Fresh claims have emerged alleging that the Department of State Services (DSS) — not the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) — is behind the arrest of outspoken social media critic, VeryDarkMan.

Initial reports had indicated that the activist was picked up by security operatives in Abuja, with fingers pointed at the EFCC. However, a new update shared by popular entertainment blogger, Cutie Juls, paints a different picture.

According to the blogger, prior to his detention, VeryDarkMan had received six separate invitations from the EFCC—a development that was reportedly known by his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju.

The report claims that it was the DSS that initially took VeryDarkMan into custody. Following this, the EFCC allegedly requested that the DSS transfer him into their care for further interrogation linked to an ongoing investigation.

Cutie Juls further alleged that the case is tied to a woman accused of laundering money, with whom VeryDarkMan allegedly had several conversations that are now under scrutiny. These conversations are reportedly central to the EFCC’s current investigation.

The situation continues to evolve, with no official statement yet from either the DSS or the EFCC.

In other news, Popular Nollywood actress and billionaire wife, Regina Daniels, has stirred conversation online with a bold statement directed at fellow women.

In a recent Instagram post accompanied by a photo of herself relaxing in a bathtub, Regina subtly criticized the way women treat one another. She suggested that the world would be a far better place if women showed each other the same affection and support they show to men.

Her caption read:
“The world would be a better place if women loved women the way they love men.”

The post comes in the wake of numerous criticisms the actress has faced, particularly from women, regarding different aspects of her personal life and choices.

One follower, @chubby_divinile_, echoed Regina’s sentiments, writing:
“Let’s learn to love ourselves ladies. Be happy for your fellow woman. Stop the envy and jealousy. I come in peace.”

Regina’s message has sparked mixed reactions, with many applauding her for speaking out while others continue to debate the underlying message.
