All is set for the traditional wedding of Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo, and her Tanzanian fiancé, Juma Jux, as preparations reach their peak in Lagos.
A video making waves online captured one of Juma Jux’s in-laws dressed in traditional Yoruba attire, showing off his look ahead of the much-anticipated ceremony. Dressed in a stylish black agbada adorned with a touch of brown and accessorized with traditional beads and black shoes, the excited guest expressed his enthusiasm for the big day.
Introducing himself as an MC, the man joked that it was his first time in Lagos and called on Nigerians to give him a Yoruba name since he was fully ready to “shut down” the venue in celebration of Juma Jux and Priscilla. He also confirmed he had journeyed from East Africa to witness the grand affair.
Earlier, Juma Jux was welcomed at the airport in Lagos with fanfare, including drummers and dancers, marking his arrival for the special event.
Iyabo Ojo, playing the perfect host, went all out to make her guests from Tanzania feel at home. Reports revealed that she prepared customized gift packages containing luxurious items, which were placed in the rooms of her international guests.
Additionally, Priscilla’s father, Iyabo’s former husband, was also spotted in town, showing full support for his daughter’s big day. The star-studded event promises to be a glamorous celebration of love, culture, and unity between Nigeria and Tanzania.
