Pop icon Justin Bieber has firmly denied recent rumors suggesting he’s facing financial trouble.

On Wednesday, the 31-year-old artist released a statement through his team, dismissing the claims as “clickbait stupidity” and asserting that they stem from individuals who are upset about no longer being involved in his professional circle.

The statement was issued in response to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, which quoted a former member of Bieber’s team alleging the singer was heavily in debt.

These claims surfaced shortly after Bieber officially pulled the plug on his Justice World Tour, following multiple delays due to ongoing health concerns.

In a response shared with Us Weekly, Bieber’s representatives clarified: “This is just clickbait stupidity based on unnamed — and clearly ill-informed — ‘sources,’ disappointed that they no longer work with Justin. As Justin forges his own way forward, these unnecessary stories and inaccurate assumptions will continue. But they won’t deter him from staying committed to following the right path.”

The tour, originally set to launch in 2020, was first postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Further delays followed in 2022 after Bieber revealed he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a condition that caused facial paralysis.

By March 2023, the remainder of the tour was cancelled indefinitely.
