Social media personality Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), has responded to a series of controversial claims made by a TikTok user, Gabriel Timothy—also known as Tumma—against Nollywood actress Regina Daniels.
Tumma recently posted videos alleging that Regina, who is married to politician Ned Nwoko, has been involved in an extramarital relationship with a man based in Abuja. In one clip, he purportedly shows the actress in bed with this alleged lover and claimed to possess further evidence that could expose her. He even challenged Regina Daniels to take legal action against him if she believed the accusations were false.
Reacting to the situation, Verydarkman condemned Tumma’s actions and declared his intention to involve law enforcement. He announced that he plans to report the TikToker to the authorities and ensure an investigation is launched into his claims and supposed evidence.
VDM, who previously clashed with Tumma online, revealed in a video that their history dates back to their time in prison. He said Tumma was previously detained over defamatory comments involving First Lady Oluremi Tinubu. According to VDM, he advocated multiple times for Tumma’s release, which eventually led to his freedom—making his current behavior all the more disappointing.
In a private conversation VDM claims to have had with Tumma, the TikToker justified his actions by expressing disapproval of infidelity among married women. When asked if he truly possessed evidence against Regina Daniels, Tumma insisted he did.
Despite his strong stance against Tumma’s conduct, Verydarkman noted that he won’t personally pursue legal action but will hand over the case to someone else due to time constraints. He emphasized that he has no interest in suing people who criticize or defame him online.
